Macworld/iWorld, Day 1 – Event

Macworld iWorld event ad

Day 1 of Macworld/iWorld 2013 can be summed up in one word – knackered. :-)

I starte the day by going to the Ashton Kucher/Josh Gad talk about the upcoming moving jOBS. It was more interesting than I expected. Hadn’t planned on going, but glad I went. And I’m now looking forward to the movie, regardless of what anyone else says.

I spent much of the day walking the floor and getting a quick overview of the booths at this year’s show. I am really happy with the mix of old/new, software/hardware, Mac/iOS, cheap/expensive stuff available.

And today marked my debut as an interviewer on the floor. I picked up an iRig mic and the Twisted Wave app and am now going to be dangerous wherever I go.

If you’d like to hear some of my interviews and see some of the pictures I took, you can find them on the MyMac.com website and episode 441 of the MyMac.com podcast.
